My strength and focus is in digital transformation-focused consulting and workshopping, content strategy, and user experience design, with supplementary skills in accessibility, SEO, content marketing and writing (social, email, and longform), personalization, and marketing automation.

What you won’t see there?
I’m a passionate team-builder, serving as the practice lead for four other content designers. Along with supporting business development and project oversight, I created and work to maintain a knowledge base with dozens of comprehensive guides to document our activities and deliverables. I transformed our onboarding plan to make it more efficient and effective, and I regularly train and mentor both my content design team and our UI design colleagues in new and emerging skills.
I’ve also taken the public speaking skills I use with clients every day onto the stage to share professional and personal project learnings:
- I’ve presented why your (and every) team needs a knowledge base for the Growing in Content conference and was voted by attendees as one of the top 4 “Best of GIC” talks. I delivered the same talk at Chicago Camps’ Fall UX Camp and as an internal guest speaker for IntelliBridge’s UX team.
- I love to spread the gospel of content modeling, which I’ve done in conversational settings like a Tent Talks podcast on how content modeling intersects with designing for scalability and in formal settings at Decoupled Days 2025 and Content Strategy Seattle in a talk titled Content Structure Tactics to Help Overcome Governance Challenges.
- BarCamp Philly and a Changemakers Gathering have served as the backdrop for sharing what I learned from attempting to spend 1000 hours outside over the course of a calendar year (spoiler: a lot, even though I didn’t quite make it to that goal). And I’ve been honored to share my current passion project of hosting 50 dinner parties, themed for each of the 50 states, on the Neighborful Station podcast and Neighborful at Night.
